Dr Anubhav Mittal is the co-founder of the Australian Pancreatic Centre which is one of the world’s leading centres in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic disease. He has over 10 years of surgical experience specialising in gallstones, hernias and pancreatic cancer.

Dr Mittal obtained Fellowship in 2011 with the Royal Australasian College of surgeons in the field of general surgery. He briefly interrupted his training to undertake a full-time PhD at the University of Auckland, where he gained valuable experience in proteomics, cyclic voltammetry and animal models.

Currently he operates at Royal North Shore Hospital, Ryde Hospital, Norwest Private and North Shore Private Hospitals. Dr Mittal also teaches at The University of Sydney as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Surgery and was previously appointed as the Director of Surgical Skills Training.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Mittal is actively involved in surgical research and training. His research has been published extensively and is often an invited speaker at both national and international meetings and events.
