Dr Yaser Gholami Awarded Beryl & Jack Jacobs Travel Award
Sydney Vital Flagship 3 research fellow Dr Yaser Gholami received a Beryl & Jack Jacobs Travel Award from the Kolling Institute in May 2019. The travel award enabled Dr Gholami to travel to the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a visiting scholar and to further enhance the existing collaboration on developing a novel theranostic radio-immuno-nanoplatform for multimodal imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy of cancer.
Dr Paul Liu Awarded Sydney Vital Travel Award
Sydney Vital member, Dr Paul Liu, was awarded a Sydney Vital travel grant in July 2019 to attend the annual meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Held in San Antonio, Texas, the AAPM is the largest medical physics meeting in the world.
Dr Carina Owen Awarded Sydney Vital Travel Award
Sydney Vital member, medical oncology fellow at Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), Dr Carina Owen was awarded a Sydney Vital travel grant to attend the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2019 Annual Meeting in Chicago, US, last month.
Grace Lim Awarded Sydney Vital Travel Award
Ms Grace Lim, the PhD student under our Thyroid Cancer TCE (Translational Centre of Excellence), was awarded a Sydney Vital Travel Grant to attend and present her research study at this year’s annual meeting of the American Thyroid Association.
