SYDNEY 3000

Core Facilities links with personnel (in progress_should send out survey questionnaire to get this done- How can we help our members to promote their core facilities and how can other researchers have a better understand of how these facilities can facilitate their research activities to produce expected outcomes?)

Sydney Vital aims to make available to all members equipment, expert assistance and skills development (e.g. workshops) for preclinical research (in vitro, in vivo, tissue imaging); biobanking; clinical imaging; pathology; advanced statistics; and proteomics and genomics (inl, next-generation sequencing & bioinformatics).

A shared infrastructure platform and the skills developed activities associated with it, is what it will serve as a catalyst for interaction and knowledge-exchange between Sydney Vital members from different disciplines and sites. This in turn will encourage the cross-fertilization of ideas, leading to innovation as well as collaboration.
